THE first month just slipped away..Every day, every night, every minute, every second we want to be with Ayah..in the midst of prepping up for our almost zero mood to celebrate Hari Raya we still had our l'il fun to lift up the spirit and make the best of it. Poor Ayah, didn't get the atmospehere like us back home. He had to attend classess from 9pm-2pm. Had he's Raya meal ala instant indo-mee and fried egg..Before this he'll be the first to be up, put on his new under garments, baju melayu and head to the mosque with Aki, and brothers/in law. The theyw ill visit Aki's eldest sister who lives nearby and enjoy her homemade cooking. At home Mummy will be busy waking up the kids, who always had late nights even not in Raya month. Put on their new dress, jewellery, Baju melayu, l'il songkok for Zeidan and wait beautifully for Ayah ti come home. We all will be xcited to see him, knowing that we will perfomr the traditional routine, salam, an hugs and of coz taking LOADS of pictures in the house. At times, we would finish the while roll of films in one morning..So vain..

Fasting month is over, and TWO more months to go. Mummy had booked ticket on 4th Decemebr where she's been changinf date for the 2rd time. Foiund out that Ayah wonlt be having any class on Friday, that's when she decided to arrived on Friday so we can stay a night in London for the weekend. Hopefully, everything goes well.

Hari Raya DISASTER (9 weeks / 51days)

The new look for Hari Raya 2008

ITS d most busiest day of the year, day of the "baby" moon sigthing, everyone was rushing to get haircut, car wash, hitting the tailor shop, goin to banks to take MORE money ( wherever it came from) n many more unconsciously shopping spree that needs to be done before Raya falls (fingers corss that it won't be tomorrow) that's everyone desire. Well almost everyone, in my case, it is a tradition to hit the overcrowded hair saloon..

Its an impulse decision for my son, i was thinking to NOT to get him a haircut, or a trim but.........I decided to SHAVE his hair off..That will be challenging i thought to myself..IT DID..AS the lady place his cover gently he was a bit relax, while being entertained with Disney cartoon on dvd player. So I prayed that he will be in that position till the end..But my blood pressure rose as he started to jerk a bit. Then he's ROAR can be heard..He started to pull the cover, like the angry HULK!!yangking the ocver off his body, tryin to jump off of me..We had to continued it was just quarterly done..Then He screamend his head of, till it almost break the glass window..People in there were staring and hissing, I don't care..

The lady was kind enough to bare all that, and SHe didn't even charge me for his haircut..Never expect to receive this kind of sympathetic gesture from a stranger , after all Zeidan really was uncontrollable!!I promise him that he won't be visiting the saloon for the whole year. Except tomorrow to fix it at Barber shop (kadai kaleng) for damage measure..Fingers cross!

The unfinished product, surely needs to be fixed.

Girl Time

OUR 3rd week without Ayah has been quite busy filled with tons of activities prepared by Mummy since she's off for 2 weeks long holiday..Mummy brought me to the saloon have our nails done, that's least she can do while I wait around for her to do mani/pedicure + foot spa..
I was treated my first nail coloring, & for Free, tanx to the nice auntie at Essensual Saloon..I'll surely come back to get free perm (k, don't push it).

Exaggerating Appetite

Over the week, we tried several restaurants for Sungkai Buffet with nini & nini boy (of coz separate occasion)..The first outing was at Nyonya restaurant where I requested everyone to wear Baju Kurong coz I look pretty in it. I Love the Mee Hoon, and addorted kueh. There was the Swensen, where Mummy regret going since they served uncooked fish fillet, and burnt pasta so AWFUL..We ordered ice-cream to complement our poor taste bud , at least that lift up Mummy's mood..Then there was Le taj, I barely touch anything cos fell asleep on Mummy's lap the entire time while Brother actively seeking attention!!Poor Mummy didn't enjoy her food with brother acting out in public. There was also the time Mummy brought me to join Umi Julie's family sungkai at a Thai's restaurant and I get the priviliges to meet her BIG family of 11 + 2 inlaws+7 grandchildren and form instant friedship with all her nieces and nephews who are just about my age.My favourite girl was Iffah (blue Girl's Rock t-shirt), Something bad happend to her earlier that a lady's handbag had snatched her "animal printed with curly red hair head-band" by accident!the ordeal was pretty hilarious for Mummy for she had witnessed it all.(of all the people, always MyMummy )

Wet n Wild

The most recent one was at Rizqun Hotel, wow we had a SPLASH!!Mak Te(Ayah's Sister) was so nice to invite us for a swim while she and family checked in the hotel.

It was a cool afternoon, Mummy grab Brother his first Swimming suit compeleted with goggles and he look so cute in it.. We rush down to the pool at half past 5. 30 minutes about 30 minutes before Sungkai. Better make the best out of it..WOW, I was excited yet terrified at first, since we have'nt been in the water for quite some time. The water was freezing cold, but cousin Hafiy did it like a pro he was 'diving' in the pool with his aquatic skills. When it's time to go, I was not ready to leave the pool yet. But with certain amount of persuasion and promises that we'll come back the next morning and then I complied. Brother on the other hand didn't enjoyed the adventure. It was his first time though, so he was clinging like a baby koala the whole time. Hope he won't grow up and scared of water like old man (hekhek).

We wished that Ayah was there..But having to do stuff like this helped us to get pass the time quickly so we won't realise that our days are getting closer to see him. We always miss you Ayah, every beat of the way..

MUmmy's girl is "Arcadict"

I would'nt expect that my SWEET Nuryn who've just turn 4 would already altered her list of places to go...before it would be "Mama, I wanna go to "Jungle-gym", "Hua-Ho" or "MacDonald"..It surprised me at first, that she wanted me to bring her to the ARCADE..Yep, a place where there's bunch of teenagers stumbled in. Not that I'm not keen on that place I just prefer to avoid places with swarming teenagers to avoid bumping into them (since i work with them for a living)..

It was right after sungkai, she started mumbling and said "Mama, I wanna go upstairs"..this has been her ritual since a baby, everytime she sees Staircase she would pull my hand and lead me up..and I mean every stairs she can find in, whether it's at the department store,shops or even somebody's house.

So off we go to the arcade where her last visit was a year ago, and I recalled that she didn't enjoyed it at all.Too limited to see anything that challenge her height and motor skills..But now, she's started to learn her way in..Trying the bowling machine, knocking cat's head (there's only 1 head poppin, the only 1 that works), manouvering the mini-simulator (her favourite), hockey table, carousel (still not recommended for her age).

She's shown more confident and competency in her game now. She was really enjoyin her self and that's what's important!!Luckily, she was not that curious to go further in, the place was pact and LOUD.My poor girl is not fit to this type of crowd , neither is Mummy..WE're both too young or too old..Teenagers are everwhere, duck Mummy, duck!!Zeidan was being curios too tryin few games that he couldn't even understand yet, hehe..and guess what we returned back to the same place the following day,Ooh there's anoder arcade round the corner n the game was very child-friendly and interactive..

11 Weeks / 77 days to Go...

Our l'il Bully - Zafrey Zeidan..He won't give up until he gets his way. May it be over a toy that he never care to play with, he would start 'caring' for it when it's in the hand of someone else..Always knocking our heads with hard objects (especially his knuckles n feet) and if he couldn't get enough he'll start bulldoziong his prey like a charging Rhino..He would show no mercy at all!

Days can go by with Mummy tryin straighten up his persona by giving warnings and threats, but it perished in the thin air. It's just not his principle to show his affection to what being told!

But once he put up his 'innocent' sorry face his misdemeanor is simply forgiven PRONTO..He always soften us with his giggles, puffy face. In the end of every offence he'll give us a hug n BIG WET kiss on the lip..Who would resist that from a sweet l'il boy..

HaPPY 5th Anniversary

INseparable couple -Once upon a time.....

5 years ago, we only made plans to be together !!and that's about IT, Life is ALMOST complete..

Our li'l history was that we only had a brief dating, about 3 months before we both decided to tie the knot. Though we've known each other 7 years earlier on , Overlooked by numbers of Wrong people that we encountered..WE went to college together, hangout at cafes, walk to our work attachments (in BSB), uncountable picnics, n numerous events..But our past was reamins a MYSTERY,as to why we never got hitched the earlier..Well, things happend!

Never knew we would fall head over heels just in ONE night!!Haha, so corny I would reckon we were!!Tanx to KK trip (Shhhhhhhhhh....those who were there would not dare to mention anything)

But, nevertheless...It's a MILESTONE for every marriage, 5 years is emminent enough to predict that we're going to have another good (n worst) years ahead of us. We SURVIVED!!I'm grateful for all the things that happpened since I Met you..You are truly MY PERFECT match, LOve you for everything..

12 weeks 84 days to Go...

The face that we miss every beat of the heart
First week without Ayah

The first week of not having Ayah around was quite a challenge for us..Mummy had to put herself in Ayah's "pants" while still being herself..it was a devastating week, adaptin to new life without the MAN of the house around..

This affected Nuryn who kept on asking "when ayah coming home Mamma?", Sometime tears would streamed down her innocent face whenver she remembers him..oaah, it's just heart breaking to swallow..

Zeidan on the other hand is acting out..always picking on Nuryn n everyone he can lay his chubby hands on..apart from his notorious behaviour, He fell sick, with fever of almost 40 degrees for 2 nites, n vomitted whole day. Mummy had to rushed us all to the clinic and get urgent treatment. The next day, he was all better..Tanx to Aunti Faizah & Uncle Athai who were there to accompany us to the hospital and made prior arrangement with the doctor.

It was depressing for all of us to have to go through this without Ayah, but Mummy tried her best to pull everyone spirit and tried to enliven the house auro. Ayah trying to bite nuryn's hand from the screen, and she laughed her heart out!!

time-out from home..spend quality time at the book store, our favourite shop Icklebook..Mummy had to seize this opportunity after a check-up at the clinic, it really worn down the stress, especially for poor Zeidan.

Our first sungkai at the house helped to bring back the pleasant atmospehre we always have..there's Uwan & Aki (parent in-law),Ngah Ajis, Uda Keena, Moon, Faizah and Zayyan...sure was great to hve family and friends around, though it can't replace Ayah's absence. Tanx everybody ;.)

Don't PANIC , I didn't turn the kids upside down..there were crawling under me so i had to take the pictures this way..At least its their first laughter this week echoing in the house!!We continued by singing, jumping, dancing crazily with the help of Hi-5...

MUmmy's l'il helper

The looong week was almost over..We head down to Uwan's house..She was as usual busy in the 'cookie' room preparing Hari Raya biscuits for Ayah and plus tryin to meet her for Raya order..The familiar cooking aroma arouse the fasting spirit in the house, wish Ayah is here to share it with us..

Nuryn insisted to help out, coz she wants to made it especially for Ayah..what a great help she was. Taught her once, and she picked it instantly!!Must be passed fro Uwan's genes..hekhek.Zeidan persisted to help, bu No, No, its not gonna make any better..

Surely this is one special recipe added with; extra drooling, sneezing, and top of that LOVe..she was muttering repeatedly that "Ayah gotta love this Mamma" all the way.

I guess, we look for forward to send this yummy treats to you by this week..Bet Ayah will enjoy it as mush as we all enjoyed making it for him..Miss u every second of the way!!!

Just Me n Kids - [after all]

A hectic months it has been for us..we've just settled down at d new house getting warm and cozy now Ayah has to leave..though letting him is the biggest sacrifice ever, with heavy heart Mummy still managed to 'think' positive and accept the challenge..

But now, its almost 24 hours after he left everything seems to be gloomy and dreary..No more laughter to share with, tears to shed,jokes to tell (mostly on Ayah), nagging and yelling slowly subsided in the house!! So what else to do??but wait until the next opportunity comes along and be in his arms.

Two days before his departure we all took a turn at a studio. It was tiring but fun 1 hour for us at the studio. Nuryn was a bit reserved at first, but way to go brother..He sure is a BIG poser, no assistant needed..BUT once Mummy start parading asking her to jump and turn, she followed suit like a pro..poor Mummy had to act like a monkey infront of the cameraman.(chuckle)

The session ended wit a round of tantrum from brother who plead to leave the place due to 'fatigue'..Nuryn joined the club few minutes later in the car when she wanted to make a stop at the Toyshop donwstairs..IF it wasn't raining like cats and dogs Mummy would have entertained u Sayang..

This is a true daily routine in d family, of coz the HEad of the house will be bullied no matter what!

To the life of my life- B, may you always be safe and in health no matter where u are..n all ur days will be as smooth as what the ALmighty had planned 4 u.May U always be protected by HIM. Me n d Kids LOve u n Miss u Miserably . .
