Another B'day BASH in August

SUURRRRRPPPPPRRRRISSSSSEEEE....dats one hell of a shock to U..at exactly 8.35ish pm on 23rd August, U're expectin a quite private dinner wit Me @ CHarcoal..guess I was soo smooth on planning this, that u didn't have a clue.The party even had a theme, tanx to Julie she's the responsible person for this..Sadly, she couldn't make it due to unforeseen family situation!!Wished she was there too.. Remember that i had to spend longer hours on my nyte out with her, well at least I managed to get all the stuff needed , which was btw SUPERHERO theme..I kNow how much u LOVE watching movies n especially Fictions like STAR WARS, TRANSFORMERS, IRON MAN, SPIDER MAN, BAT MAN, ALL THE MEN..
Did try to get u a BRITISH flag cake, but they MIssed out the red color due to wrong instructions. unfortunately the B'day BOY is Not a hero himself, couldn't make u look any badder than this, well at least i tried..
In my case, the unfortunate event was dat i got mixed up wit being a CAT woman but in a BAT girl mask, which makes me CABAT WOMAN (as Moon pointedout)..what d heck!! as long as i'm one of d good guys/gals..Moon was generous enuf to show her superhero powers, powers to generate heat fr her bare hands, more like a firestarter to me..

we had a cat fight because of this.. The other superheroes were WOlverine (d BEst 1) and Alai 'Cute' Kim POssible..u guys are d best. n so r ALL d superheroes out der who were busy protecting the humans and saving the world!!

Of coz My Superhero is the best one, its ALL underneath the dark mysterious mask..

The next day, u didn't forget to celebrate the NORMAL traditional family outing who loves to share ur special day with u..

AGAIN I threw a little surprise, but u sensed it (of coz)..if they weren't too obvious waitin by the kitchen..asked Joy (singer) to serenade u a song i dedicated it specially for u..SEMPURNA by gita gutawan..haaaaaaaaa, love dat song!!

D whole afternoon was spent chowing on high cholesterol, sugary and fattening food..everybody enjoyed the food and the HAPI Birthday to u song, in biligual.. ONe BIG KISS to u from ur favourite ladies in d world!!

Poor zeidan had a fever again on frantic Monday...During this time Mummy would wish hard that u pass the illlness to Me instead, let me carry ur pain, coz i dun want u to get sick ever.Everytime u fell sick, it makes me think about my truest reason to become a Mummy! all i want to do is comfort u, hug u, makes u feel warm n save in my arms.

That morning u were up around 5 ish by ur loud cry! n i touch ur forehead n ur too warm..

u kept cryin even when i held u, kipak u nuting seems to work. I made u take calpol that will turn ur heat down, poor ayah was worried too. We took the the ultimatum to give u supository (tingy inserted to ur bottom)..dat really work in seconds..

Both Mummy n Ayah brought u to see the doctor, wer u start running around like u didn get sick. We went to the bookstore next door and grabbed few books that u handpicked ur self. after the check up, i was hoping to get u a good sleep but as soon as ur back in ur car seat u were crying hysterically , so thats means ur really sleepy. Mummy had to drop ayah to the office den drive us back home.

There at home,i manage to calm u down and put u to sleep in my arms..u make sounds that just didn want me to let go,,and den i decided to stay home with u the whole day. After two days or so, ur body is back normal..Alhamdullillah, Hope u're getting stronger everyday sayang. Coz ur such an active n adventurous boy. Love u.

Welcome home Beeeeeeh,

It's been almost 2 years she hasn't step foot in Brunei..I know, we were very close before, there not a moement dat we didn't contact each other.. as what we'll announce to people-known since we were a foetus..although I am a year older than you..So, technically since we were born.

We are related by nature ,from our Mother who are sisters, Not many cousins will survived this unique closeness especially when all of us are starting with new life; getting married, having chores and errants, living in two separate continent and living totally different lifestyle. Bibi met a handsome & kind italian born australian few years ago in Perth, n got hitched few months after I got hitched!!therefore, the distance..

It never failed to surprise our parents that we always want to do same thing, although our personality is adversely different. We used to talk in bed till the wee morning when were younger,share secret which only last a second to our next best fren, burning down the phone line (she will use the fax line, while i use the house line-no handphone yet) with boys on random, we travelled together, party thru like ders no tomorrow, shop for entirely different taste, drive around aimlessly on the street (unlicensed Shh!),cook mostly i'll be helping, take shower quickly coz we were on a rush to go somewhere, annoyed each oder crazy like banging on the toilet door while i was doing business No.2 (man, i hate that)..I would finish what i was doing, get out and drag her big ass to the toilet to give her the preview of what i left inside the toilet bowl( brutal huh!) told her not to mess with my S***.

Over the years, We started to drift apart due to wife-hood, mother-hood and work-hood in a different neighbour-hood..But we managed to meet up in Singapore some 2 years ago to rekindle.. did all the things mentioned in 3 days!!

We still act the same, laugh stupidly at our stupid joke "Is that a PAAAAIG?" (is that a pig?) in aussie accent.it's an ancient incident when i visited her in PErth tryin to pick up the accent over there..No matter how far we are that joke will always trigger us to laugh breathlessly.

Recently , she came back for 3 weeks to visit n though we didn't spend that much time like we used to, it was the best quality time with her,.Amazingly , we never had a fight, maybe disagreement but we always change the subject when things get heat up, dat mutual understading is the only mature thing we had.

She also had a son, that I like to show on the slide..See our differences, she is still d Bibi d silliest girl i've ever known. I hope to see her in near future, coz there's always this fatal attraction to unconditionally love and care for her..as if shes my very own sister..oh ya she addressed me as Kaka, coz she always wanted to have big sister to look out too, but unfortunately this one is unqualified to even labelled as the mature one.

Now that she's in her late 20's n I am in my 30's, being around her is always like we're still 12 and 13..Love U Beh..i hope u're always in good health and happiness.

Our Princess's 4th B'day

ON wednesday, 6th August is our Princess 4th B'day..she was soo excited ever since Mummy mentioned it a week in advance..This year is also your first b'day celebration at school..So Mummy couldn't sleep thinking to plan for ur b'day. Since u're our princess,Mummy got u Princess's dress, complete with tiara n glass slippers..n this year d fun part was u went SHOPPING wit mummy to buy all these stuff ..You wer such a dear girl dat u didn't complain nor pull any attention deficit syndrome throughout d day. Mummy must have passed d genes to u, u enjoyed going to 4 different places in 1 afternoon, when before this it will be impossible to bare..

Since u pre-proposed for a Barbie cake, Yep Mummy got u Cinderella Barbie cake, to go wit ur dress. But the cake is for another special function at home.

Mummy n Ayah were there to be ur party hostess where we served food, drinks and give out door gifts to everyone. You couldn't stop smiling and that's what Mummy n Ayah are blessed to see for life.

In the evening we throw a l'il party at the house so u can share with brother, ngah ajis,uda, uncu n special surprise guest auntie feyzah n family. You had ur 2nd b'day cake and Mummy think dats a BIG day for a girl whose turn 4..imagine that we have to keep up with this for next 20 years or so (n every year will be bigger n merrier *yikes*)

But that's NOT the end your story Princess, ur U'wan insisted to throw u another party on Friday @ her house. dress in your princess's dress again (where else u'll be wearing it right?)You spend the whole day playing with ur young aunties, getting more present n another B'day cake.yes this time its d BARBIE cake dat u've been drooling about..

Its' s been ages since I've witnessed THE parade on the street of Brunei..The parade was on 26th July, one of the biggest event during His Majesty's 62nd B'day.. the main reason for me to be excited was because it is happening just right outside our NEW moved in house..

Yeah, after a long tiring month of cleaning, repairing, cleaning again, moving stuff, loading and unloading etc..Finally we moved in on that historical day to coincide with the BIG parade.

We took a walk with the kids right after work, just 3 mins+ from our house (running actually), cross a two lane highway adjacent to our building and reach the tasek lama road where all the beautiful motor lined up. it was spectacular, really missed that atmosphere.. The kids are astonished though sweating coz I insisted Nuryn to wear hooded raincoat incase it will pour.. it was windy but the sight of the colorful decorated motors kept us going against the wind.

We continued admiring and walking, there was loud music too, it came from TelBru ..they dressed up as so-called alien or man from the future , there was under d sea theme from Shell companies, the clams was fully loaded with neon lights, and few others of course the mosque, kampong ayer, giant books, globes ya know the typical. We surely enjoyed the afternoon and we left around 6 couldn't wait for the lights to come coz the cloud was getting pretty dark ..

on the way back, thank god it wasn't raining. BIG thumbs up to everyone who worked hard for the parade..

Nuryn'z day out..

Going off to Jigsaw, SMILE....

WHAT A pity zeidan was coming down with a flu, so I told him to stay home and rest. He would surely appreciated this day too. It was My school Family Fun Day @ Jigsaw Playschool that moved us to spend a very warm, sunny, sunday afternoon. Sure the first thing Iwanted to try was the BOUNCER, but mummy insisted and kept on persuading me to alot of "pit stop" before landing at the bouncer area. So, as a sweet abiding daughter I was,followed her flow..though I start to wonder on how to escape her.Hmmph (naaaah, don't have the gut) .The first stop was the face painting, couldn't resist all the commotion in there! It was like a room full of tiny supermodel,getting their make up done.

Then Ayah tried "ring -toss" game, Yup he got it all (i think), its not that challenging for a guy who happens to have pair of long arms.

Almost getting to the bouncer area, I was anxious, think i had adrenaline rush as I get closer. Since I was wearing the 'Official" t-shirt that the school had for sales, I was entitled for a FREE unlimited time for all bouncers, yey sound like FREE ride to me. But I didn't stay that long, "I want my Mummy". Ayah came to the rescue, coz Mummy was busy chatting with Aunty Babe. Oh well, Mummy had to 'respect' my decision this time. so Mummy lured me back to the game area. YEY,gotta win some prizes. Must, must, must!! Still manage to try the 'mini-golf' challenge, and coach by our very own "Tiger Wood"

Our last game was good old fishing game, it was more fun when baby Yayan was fishing too. He looked surreal for a 20 mth+ boy eyeing to catch one. We both caught two fishes BRAVO (at least that's limit). Really wish Zeidan was there too, he would've catch the fish with his bare hands I bet.

Along the way, We managed to take alot of pictures with Mummy's friends , there was The Special guest of honour Aunty Faizah & family (Mummy invited them over). The glamorous Aunty Babe & family, Old time friend Aunty Ivy & kids, Mummy's cousin so that makes him my 2nd cousin baby Eljaz, he's a 2 yr old cutie.

This is the time when Mummy tried to show me how to play dart, OMG she's terrible !!She couldn't aim nor burst any balloon, oh well it's worth a try right!!

we've done it all, we tried baseball, mini soccer, wishing well (wish I win) n the BEST part winning was the Lucky Draw, Mummy was so occupied with trying to win the game that she didn't hear her name being called out after the 3rd times. Finally, She ran to the MC and shouted "It's MINE" with an over the head pitch voice.

Time to head home, but before that we treat our self on cool Mr.Softy ice cream while enjoying the afternoon breeze. The afternoon was too hot for me STILL so it's pretty obvious that my only cheerful picture was back in our car, grinning ear-to-ear.
